Our funeral home is family owned and that means something. It means that the people you trust in your time of need are your neighbors and they live right in the Rockingham County area. In fact, you may already know the Colonial Funeral Home staff and their families from church or from a community group or charity organization.
While many funeral homes have family names, quite a few are actually operated by large corporations, with headquarters in another state. Not Colonial. Our funeral home has been owned by local families since it was established in 1971. That means we’re involved in the community, we know the people, and we know the local customs and traditions.
