Donnie Wayne Bullins, Sr.

MADISON – Donnie Wayne Bullins, Sr., 63, of 288 Ziglar Road, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2012, at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Patzfahl and Reverend Randy Jessup officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bullins was born October 14, 1948, in Rockingham County, to Minnie Ruth Nelson Bullins and the late Andy Paul Bullins. He was a US Army veteran and was owner of Donnie Bullins Livestock.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 36 years, Linda Manuel Bullins, of the home; sons, Donnie Wayne “D.W.” Bullins, Jr., and wife, Ami, of Mayodan and Eric Paul “Red” Bullins and wife, Sue, of Madison; brother, Ricky Bullins of Madison; sister, Vickie Bullins of Mayodan; the light of his life, grandson, Chandler Wayne Bullins; special niece Logan Thomas; special nephew, Blake Thomas; very special friend, Rob Caudle, and wife, Kim, and many special cousins and friends, too numerous to name.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at his mother’s home, 290 Ziglar Road, Madison.
Memorials may be made to the Chandler Wayne Bullins Education Fund, Southern Community Bank and Trust, 619 Ayersville Road, Madison, NC 27025.
