Barbara Jean Chaney Dunlap Obituary (1959 - 2020)

STONEVILLE- Barbara Jean Chaney Dunlap, age 61 of Stoneville, NC passed away Monday November 16, 2020 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held 2 pm Thursday November 19th, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Barbara was born July 1, 1959 to the late Albert Chaney and Ruby Mae Hundley Chaney in Rockingham County NC. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed many things especially her family. She loved quilting, puzzles and would try any dessert at least once. She absolutely loved to bake and cook for her family and had a passion for growing her plants and flowers, and enjoyed seeing the humming birds around them. Surviving her is her husband of 44 years Ricky Dunlap of the home, her son Ricky Dunlap and wife Kristy of Morristown, TN, her daughter Barbie Brandel of Walnut Cove, NC, brothers Carson Chaney and wife Delores, Gene Chaney and wife Penny, sisters Christine Via and husband Larry, Betty Dunlap and husband Larry, grandchildren Jessea, Kadey, Chloe, Noah, Logan and Kennedy, expected great grandchild Elijah, numerous nieces and nephews and her loving pet dogs Jake, Daisy Mae, Buddy and Patches her cat. The Visitation will be held Wednesday November 18th, 6 pm until 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. Online condolences can be made at www.colonialfh.net.
