David Ike Southern Obituary (1956 - 2018)

STONEVILLE David Ike Southern, 62, died Friday, October 26, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home. Mr. Southern was born on October 14, 1956 in Guilford County to the late Gordon Cooliage Southern and Virginia Louise Gaither Southern. David enjoyed riding scooters, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. His greatest love was Jesus, his kids, grandkids and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Robert Bobby Cole and nephew, Austin Southern. Survivors include his daughter, Virginia Star Isely (Chris); sons, Joseph Ike Southern (Cara Rose) and Dustin Wayne Southern; six grandchildren; brothers, Carl Southern (Alice), Austin Southern (Jean), Sam Southern and Mark Southern (Rhonda); sister, Sue Southern; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Mike White and Cheryl.
