Dennis Alan Platt, Sr. Obituary (1948 - 2019)

MADISON Dennis Alan Platt, Sr., 71, died on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Annie Penn Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Connecticut. Mr. Platt was born on March 3, 1948 in Clinton, Connecticut to the late William Platt and Elsie Champion Platt. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War with the 101st Airborne. Dennis was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox fan and also enjoyed restoring cars, camping and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Onda Collins Platt; son, Dennis Alan Platt, Jr. (Donna); daughters, Denise Martin (Chad) and Danielle Platt; step-children, Calyn Wall and Collin Wall; grandchildren, Madison Platt, Maiah Platt, Taylor Martin, Julia Martin and Layla Platt. Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
