Faye Kimmons O'Neal Obituary (1948 - 2020)

MADISON - Faye Kimmons ONeal, 72, left this earthly life after a lengthy illness, Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Jacobs Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A private funeral service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery, Stoneville, N.C. Faye was born in Rockingham County on February 6, 1948, to the late Joseph Kimmons and Louvenia Harris Kimmons. She was a past employee of Cone Mills. When health permitted, Faye loved to shop, dance, and travel, especially to the beach and the mountains. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arey "A.J." ONeal, III (April 3, 2020) and two infant sisters Audrey Jo and Shirl Kaye Kimmons. Survivors include her daughter Michelle ONeal Smith; 11 grandchildren Laura, Monica, Mike Jr., A.J., Josh, Lindsey, Melissa, Jonathan, Brittany, and Mindy, including a special granddaughter Cheyenne Nicole Smith, 13 great-grandchildren, and many cousins. Faye will lie instate from 10 a.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home.
