Jesse James Tosh Obituary (1970 - 2019)

STOKESDALE Jesse James Tosh, 48, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Burial Park in Chatham, Virginia. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Jesse was born on May 8, 1970 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR. He was also a skilled tree climber. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Rogers Tosh; infant brother, Christopher Tosh; paternal grandparents, James and Virginia Tosh; maternal grandparents, John Jack Adkins and Omegene Adkins; aunts, Joanne Moser and Irene Honeycutt and uncle, Jimmy Honeycutt. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Judith Adkins Tasker and Richard Tasker; son, Thomas James Tosh; daughter, Ashley Nicole Tosh; brothers, Doug Tasker, Ricky Tasker (Cathy) and Junior Tosh; sister, Lisa Marie Tosh; girlfriend, Julie Craven; mother of his children, Kay Moore; aunts and uncles, Charlie Moser, Jerry and Phyllis Adkins, Michael and Linda Adkins, Debbie and Ronnie Shelton, Fay, Christine, Pauline, Colleen, Linda and Bill Tosh.
