Linda Kaye McBride Atkins Obituary (1964 - 2019)

WALNUT COVE Linda Atkins, 55, passed away, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Atkins was born April 1, 1964 in Rockingham County, to Mary Ann McBride Strader and the late James Edward McBride. She was member of Backyard Bible Church and had a "heart of gold". Linda touched many lives and hearts. Survivors include her husband, Cecil Ray Atkins; mother, Mary Ann McBride Strader; sons, Christopher and Edward Atkins; daughter, Jessica Lynne Atkins; brothers, Wayne and Jerry McBride; sisters, Reva Jane McBride Hall, Tammy R. Farmer, and Renda Nance; grand-daughter, Reva Chyianne Atkins. The family will be meeting at the home of her mother, Mary Ann Strader at 5156 Hwy. 704 E., Sandy Ridge, NC 27046 Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
