Louise Ore Thompson Rudd Obituary (1929 - 2017)

GREENSBORO - Louise Ore Thompson Rudd, 88, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, June 25, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Madison. Louise was born in Rockingham County and later moved to Greensboro. She was an avid bowler in her younger years and spent many nights at the O'Henry Lanes in Greensboro. Louise retired from AMP, Inc. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by a son, William "Tom" Thompson. Survivors include her sons, Fred Stephen Thompson and wife, Cheryl and Charles Michael Thompson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces.
