Lucas Brandon Knight, Sr. Obituary (1981

STOKESDALE - Lucas Brandon Knight, Sr., 43, died on Saturday, September 14, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Kallam Grove Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Ronnie Warner officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison. Lucas was born on August 28, 1981 in Guilford County to Shawn Renee Coleman and the late Randy Grayling Knight. Trucking was more than a job for Lucas; it was his world. He spent countless hours on the road, making friends along the way. When he wasn't driving, Lucas loved to tinker and build things, always finding joy in creating and fixing. He was a loving man, cherished by his family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Knight and maternal grandparents, Joe and Ruth Coleman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Lucas Brandon Knight, Jr. (Taylor) and Brandon Lane Barrow; sister, Olivia Wells Brookbank (Aaron); brother, Adam Knight (Melissa); uncles, Danny Coleman and Ricky Knight; brothers from the highway and several special nieces and nephews.
