Lydia Frances Kerns Obituary (1935 - 2019)

DANBURYLydia Frances Kerns, 84, passed away, Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Kerns was born January 8, 1935 in West Virginia to the late Willie Clayton and Sadie Theola Adair Mosley. She had formerly worked as a CNA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Kerns; four children, Joseph Allen Kerns, Bruce Edward Kerns, Deborah Lynn Peoples and Lydia Christine Wall; three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her son, Willie Clayton Kerns; daughters, Sadie (Dewey) Sykes, and Tamara (Mike) Lindsey; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grand-children; eight great-great-grandchildren.
