Marion Becchio Ore Obituary (1936 - 2018)

Winston Salem Marion Becchio Ore, 81, formerly of Sandy Ridge, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Interment will follow In Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Ore was born on April 20, 1936 in New York County, NY, to the late Frank Victor and Marie Buonaiuto Becchio. She was a member of St. Leos Catholic Church. She was a former teacher assistant in the NC School System, a member of the Womens Republican Party, and a member of the Stokes County Cooperative Extension Club. Marion was a dedicated friend and a kind soul to anyone she met. She will live on with our love always and forever. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Curtis Ore. Survivors include a daughter, K.C. Ore; a brother, John Waters; a sister, Stella Zacharias (Harry); and a grandson, Ariel Ore. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
