Otis Cleo Bolen, Sr Obituary (1944 - 2017)

MADISON - Otis Cleo Bolen Sr., 73, died Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Hospice of Rockingham County. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Stokesdale Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Bolen was born on September 4, 1944, in Guilford County to the late Willie Emory Bolen and Catherine Barrett Bolen. He was a past employee of Guilford Mills and a self-employed plumber. In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Emery Bolen, James Albert Bolen and David Albert Bolen and sister, Dorothy Bolen Jolly. Survivors include two sons, Otis Cleo Bolen, Jr. and Edward Lee Bolen (Bobbi); daughter, Angela Hoppe; eight, grandchildren, Nicholas Wayne Bolen, Adam Lee Bolen, Travis Nelson Bolen, Tyler Mackenzie Bolen, Aleecia Leigh Bolen, Maegan Irene Bolen, Jessica Diane Bolen and Hannah Hermione Hoppe; four great-grandchildren, Dakota, Taylor, Emerson, and Ella; two sisters, Betty Bolen Wall (Paul Marion) and Louise Bolen Ellington.
