Steven Wayne Keen Obituary (1948 - 2021)

Steven Wayne Keen, 72, of Stokesdale, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 25th, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) in the chapel. Born November 6, 1948 in Guilford County, NC, Steven was the son of the late Wiley Deleon Keen and Emma Branson Keen. He was a US Marine veteran who served his country from 1967 to 1977. Steven worked for Guilford County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy for 11 years. Later he started his own business, P & S Tile Company, where he was still, very much active. He is survived by his four sons, Jeff Keen (Sabrina) of Summerfield, Steve Keen of Stokesdale, Michael Keen (Melanie) of Walkertown and Ricky Keen of Stokesdale; seven grandchildren, Andrew Keen, Abigail Keen, Jordan Keen, Ian Keen, Mike Keen, Alex Keen and Heather Keen; one great-grandchild, Alaina Keen; brother, Doug Keen of Oklahoma; and two sisters, Debra Jones and Emily Keen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lynn Keen; brother, Richard "Ricky" Keen; and sister, Betty Holcomb.
