William "Red" Gary Nickelston Obituary (1958 - 2021)

William "Red" Gary Nickelston, age 62 passed away October 27, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds in Winston Salem, NC. There are no services scheduled at this time. Gary was born to the late Euel and Rachel Nickelston November 17, 1958 in Stokes county, NC. He worked in construction as a carpenter most of his life and loved hunting, fishing and cooking especially preparing venison. Gary is survived by his girlfriend Nancy George, his brothers Mark A. Nickelston and wife Virginia Ann of Lawsonville, NC, Rodney Nickelston and wife Rose of Madison, NC, Granddaughter Beth Hennis and Stephen Marks of Stoneville, NC, three additional grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding him in death along with his parents is his son William Nickelston. The family would like to also mention a special family friend, "Brother Jim", also known as Pastor Jim Thompson.
