Clint Edward Easter Obituary (1989 - 2023)

MAYODAN - Clint Edward Easter, 33, passed away early Friday morning, June 9, 2023, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 6 PM on Saturday, June 17th, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 5 - 6 PM, in the chapel and other times at the home of his maternal grandmother, Mary Plummer Joyce at 1135 Golden Leaf Road in Madison. Clint was born September 3, 1989 in Eden, NC. He loved life and was known to be such a big-hearted young man. He loved to cook and was quite good at it, along with enjoying drawing and listening to music. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Throckmorton Potter and step-father, Donnie Potter of Granite Falls, NC; father, Philip "Proxy" Easter and step-mother, Melissa Easter of Mayodan; his daughter, Alexa Desiree Easter of Madison; sister, Ashley Prevette of Stokesdale; five brothers, Jace Easter, Alec Easter, Evan Easter, Stephen Easter, all of Mayodan and Cameron Potter of Granite Falls; step-brother, Brannon Potter of Wilmington; maternal grandmother, Mary Plummer Joyce of Madison; his special friend, Steve McAdams of Mayodan; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Clint was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilbert Throckmorton; maternal step-grandfather, Ralph Joyce and his paternal grandparents, Coy Edward Easter and Willie Marie Easter.
