Coy "Maynard" Easter, 77, 0f Stokesdale, NC went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on January 20, 2022 at Northwest Baptist Church; 3605 Edgefield Rd., Greensboro, NC with T.J. Easter officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until 2 pm prior to the service. Maynard was born March 22, 1944 in Rockingham County, NC. He was employed 35 years by Carolina Steel in Colfax, NC prior to his retirement and was a faithful member of Northwest Baptist Church. He loved to listen to Blue Grass Music and he loved his family and church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillie Belle Easter, his father, Clanzy Roscoe Easter, and infant son, Derrick Miles Easter, son, Marty Easter, son, Kelly Easter, brothers, Wayne Easter, Jimmy Easter, Paul Easter and sister, Mamie Tucker. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Rita W. Easter, daughters-in-law, Kristina Easter, Carol Easter, granddaughters, BreAnna Moore(Jeremy), Cassie Easter(Josh Quick), Ashley Snyder(Adam), Natasha Bullins(Matthew), grandson, Braylon Taylor, great grandchildren, Adalayna Easter, Kelly James Quick, Connor Snyder, Timothy and Ryleigh Bullins, brothers, Rodney Easter(Doris), Dennis Easter(Toni), sisters, Polly Hopkins(Clyde), Carol Newman, sister-in-law, Betty Easter, as well as many nieces and nephews.
