Dorothy Keaton Richardson Obituary (1952 - 2019)

MAYODAN Dorothy Keaton Richardson, 66, died on Monday, January 28, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Harris Family Cemetery. Mrs. Richardson was born on August 15, 1952 in Martinsville, VA to the late James Noten Keaton and Lillie Mae Mabe Keaton. Dorothy loved shoes and pocketbooks and enjoyed attending church with her family, all of whom she loved dearly. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gurney Richardson; son, Walter Ray Lawson, Jr.; brothers, Lemmie Noten Keaton and Lonnie Dean Keaton and sisters, Fozie Wine Price and Mary Frances Carter. Survivors include her son, Jonathan Richardson (Taylor) of Mayodan; grandson, Jeremiah William Richardson; brother, Ronnie Gene Keaton; sisters, Marie Trout of Reading, PA, Alice Faye Smith of Stoneville, Brenda Ann Cooper of Gastonia, Susie Elizabeth Carter of Stokesdale and Donna Kaye Griffith of Madison and numerous special extended family members.
