Hendley Delmon Pruitt Obituary (1934 - 2020)

Hendley "H.D." Delmon Pruitt, 86, formerly of Madison, died Monday, November 10, 2020, at Walnut Cove Health & Rehabilitation. H.D. was born in Patrick Count, VA on October 22, 1934, to the late Henderson Morgan Pruitt and Stella Otella Vass Pruitt. He was a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Kraft Foods, Winston-Salem, N.C. He was a kind, considerate man who loved his family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, of 40 years, Marie Minter Pruitt; sons, Charles (Tammy) and Ronnie Pruitt; stepdaughters, Alice Nelson and Joyce Law; brother, Henderson Odell Pruitt; and grandchildren, Brittany and Tylar. There will be no formal service at this time. Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family
