Joseph H. Hall Jr. Obituary (1943 - 2024)

MAYODAN - Joseph H.(Joey) Hall, Jr. passed away at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro on May 24, 2024. He was 81. Joey was born on April 2 ,1943 to the late Joseph H. (Joe) Hall and Evelyn McFalls Hall. Joey and his brother James (Jimmy) were graduates of the North Carolina School for the Deaf in Morganton. Joey was known for his work ethic and spent time in the printing and landscaping trades. He was well known in Mayodan and Madison, always friendly and wearing a smile. He had countless friends and acquaintances. In addition to his parents, Joey was preceded in death by his brother, James R. (Jimmy) Hall. He is survived by his cousins, Keith Hall Joyce and George T. (Tim) Wray and several more distant relatives. No services are planned at this time. Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
