Kent Allen Moore Obituary (1963 - 2023)

Kent Allen Moore. 60, left this earthly life, Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors. Kent was born in Stokes County on May 28, 1963, to the late William Abraham Moore and Emily Jane Smith Moore. He retired from the United States Navy where he served and loved his country. Kent was of the Baptist faith. He was a great father, and uncle, loved and adored his grandchildren who brought him much joy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Marty Moore and Bryan Moore. Survivors include a son Mitchell Moore (Lorena); daughter Kristina Moore; half-brother Victor Mendenhall; sister Debra Nelson; grandchildren Katia Moore and Theodore Moore; niece Tina Moore.
