Noel Samuel Martin Obituary (1932 - 2018)

STONEVILLE Noel Samuel Martin, 86, passed away, Friday, August 10, 2018, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, prior to the service. Noel was born June 6, 1932, in Rockingham County, to the late Oscar and Evelyn Ziglar Martin. He was a tobacco farmer and was a member of Sandy Ridge Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Edgar, Pete, and Roy Martin and sisters, Minnie Bell Craddock and Pauline Richardson. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Williams Martin; son, Timothy Martin (Ronda); brothers, Robert Martin (Linda) and Junior Martin (Mary); sisters, Reedee Hale (Russell) and Nancy Martin (Ron); grandchildren, Deborah Martin, Rebecca Duggins (Adam), and Caleb Martin; and great-grandchildren, Hannah McCandless, Tristan Shelton, Abigail Duggins, and Isabella Pratt. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
