Paul Harden Easter, Sr. Obituary (1946 - 2021)

MAYODAN - Paul Harden Easter, Sr., 74, died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Mr. Easter was born on May 15, 1946 in Rockingham County to the late Clanzy Roscoe Easter and Lillie Bell Watkins Easter. Paul loved to hunt and fish, as well as listening to bluegrass and classic country music, particularly Merle Haggard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Easter and Jimmy Easter and sister, Mamie Tucker. Survivors include his wife of nearly fifty years, Brenda Sue Lemons Easter; son, Paul Harden Easter, Jr.; daughter, Brendale Todd (Gregory); grandchildren, Ryan Todd (Kara), Peyton Bryant (Codi), Jonathan Todd and Trey Easter; great-granddaughter, Paislee Todd; sisters, Polly Hopkins (Clyde) and Carol Newman; brothers, Maynard Easter (Rita), Dennis Easter (Toni) and Rodney Easter (Doris) and numerous nieces and nephews.
