Roxie Bullins Collins Obituary (1933 - 2017)

DANBURY Roxie Bullins Collins, 84, passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Stokes County Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown. Mrs. Collins was born on June 12, 1933, in Stokes County, to the late Strawdy and Lizzie Tucker Bullins. She was retired from Unifi with more than 50 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay Collins and a brother, Morris Bullins. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Lee Collins and Mike Collins; a daughter, Helen Burton (Tony); a longtime companion, Paul Coleman; grandchildren, April Collins Hernandez, Denise Bowling (Michael), Melissa Tucker (David), and Josh Collins; great-grandchildren, Talley, Kody, and Izabella Hernandez, Matthew and Michaela Bowling, Hailee Joyce, and Dustin, Hannah, Noah, and Josie Tucker. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kirk Sanders, the staff of Stokes County Nursing Home, and Mountain Valley Hospice for their exceptional care.
