Wendy White Ellington Obituary (1968 - 2021)

EDEN - Wendy Michelle White Ellington, 52, left this earthly life on Friday, February 12, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Health Care. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Sisk officiating. Interment will follow in the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Wendy was born on September 5, 1968 in Rockingham County to the late William "Red" White and Margie Marie Dunlap White. She was an avid reader and enjoyed being around children. Wendy was a teacher's assistant and loved the process of learning and how to make if fun. She will be remembered for her love of Snoopy and music. Survivors include her daughter, Nora Brooke Ellington; grandchildren, Madison Anne-Marie Dillon, Jordyn Elizabeth Dillon and Bailey River Dillon; cousins, Charley Hand and Teresa Doss; uncle, Charles Dunlap; aunts, Dot Dunlap and Christine Hiatt and a host of loving extended family members.
